Greetings HaikuWhosist and Happy Thursday!

Thursday is the Christmas Eve of the week. We all know Friday is around the corner and the anticipation of unwrapping the weekend is often times more exciting than the actual payoff. That said, Thursday holds a special place in many of our hearts and in a few kidneys. Therefore, today's challenge is to offer up a haiku honoring one of the sexiest days of the week.

Happy Star Wars Day, everyone. And what better way to celebrate than with a Star Wars Haiku?

Happy Haikeusday*, everyone. As an added bonus, it's also the First of May, May Day, Workers Day, The Day We Wrap Ribbons Around a Huge Pole Day, Mayday! Mayday!, 4 Days 'Till Cinco Dey Mayo, etc.




Therefore, today's challenge is a haiku for May.
